
Web3 game developer Revolving Games raises more than $25 million
The Revolving Games team, focused on creating Web3 games, has raised more than $25 million. The Block reports.
During the pre-seed round, the project raised $12 million. A further $13.2 million in the seed round was provided to the developers by Pantera Capital, Animoca Brands, Polygon, Dapper Labs, and former Rockstar Games Chief Creative Officer Dan Houser.
Revolving Games will deploy the funds to finance its products over the next two years.
Earlier, ForkLog reported that the studio Limit Break raised $200 million to incorporate Web3 elements into the Free-to-Play model.
According to a report by DappRadar and Blockchain Game Alliance, for January–March the investment volume in gaming blockchain projects amounted to $2.5 billion.
The Web3 game publisher Xterio received $40 million from FunPlus, venture firms Makers Fund and FTX Ventures, and the XPLA platform.
