WhiteBIT becomes Netflix’s cryptocurrency partner

WhiteBIT chief Vladimir Nosov told Instagram that the cryptocurrency exchange has agreed a partnership with Netflix’s European subsidiary.

By the end of 2022, Netflix users will be able to pay for subscriptions with digital assets.

WhiteBIT, Netflix and an unnamed third partner will launch an educational platform in the field of cryptocurrencies. Representatives of the bitcoin exchange told ForkLog UA that this is “only the beginning” of their work in this niche.

The WhiteBIT CEO also announced a 10-episode series whose premiere will be on Netflix. He promised to reveal details in the near future.

“Partnership with a brand of this calibre for us, as the largest European cryptocurrency exchange rooted in Ukraine, is another step toward achieving our goal: the mass adoption of blockchain technology around the world”, Nosov said.

In August, the WhitePay platform, part of the WhiteBIT ecosystem, launched cryptocurrency payments for goods in major electronics retailers in Ukraine.

In the same month, the Bitcoin exchange conducted a listing of the WhiteBit Token.
