Reuters: U.S. investors file class-action lawsuit against Sam Bankman-Fried

A group of American investors has filed a lawsuit against former FTX chief executive Sam Bankman-Fried. Reuters reports, citing court documents.

According to the publication, the plaintiffs allege that the platform’s digital-asset savings accounts that offer yields violate Florida law.

Earlier, Bloomberg journalists reported that Bahamian and U.S. law enforcement were discussing the possibility of transporting Bankman-Fried to the United States for questioning. Bloomberg.

According to agency sources, the discussion has intensified in recent days as authorities of the two countries examine the role of the former CEO in the collapse of FTX and related entities. They also noted that Bahamian police questioned him on November 12.
