
Indian resident charged with selling gostain for cryptocurrency
The National Investigation Agency of India has filed charges against a resident of Visakhapatnam for espionage in favour of Pakistan. Local media report this, local media.
According to the agency, the accused Manmohan Surendra Panda conspired with a Pakistani intelligence officer to pass to him and his colleagues secret information related to the Indian Navy.
In particular, he provided confidential information relating to warships and submarines.
The defendant’s occupation was not disclosed, but it is known that he was born in Mumbai.
For his services Panda reportedly received remuneration in an unnamed cryptocurrency.
The investigation is ongoing.
