The tool enables swaps via the decentralised exchange directly in the app, removing the need for a separate browser extension.
According to the statement, the wallet supports swap features across eight blockchains, has a trader-tracking feature and includes built-in protection against MEV-bots.
The exchange introduced an Android wallet and opened access for beta testers in mid-October. In April the project launched an iOS app.
Kallil Capuozzo, Vice President of Design at Uniswap Labs, told Cointelegraph that the developers listened to user feedback and, during the testing period, made some changes to the interface for greater convenience.
He said the Android app was one of the most requested products the community had urged the team to build.
Total value locked in the protocol stands at $3.56 billion, according to DeFi Llama.
As reported, the launch timeline for protocol v4 was linked to the forthcoming Dencun hard fork in the Ethereum blockchain.
In October, the exchange introduced a 0.15% fee for swaps via the web interface and wallets for a ‘limited set of tokens’. The community raised concerns about possible centralisation of the platform.
