ZachXBT Accuses Axiom Employee of Insider Trading

ZachXBT accuses Axiom manager of insider trading via leaked user data.

On-chain detective ZachXBT has accused Axiom trading platform manager Broox Bauer of leaking user data for insider trading.

According to the researcher, Bauer used the platform’s internal tools to find hidden wallets of crypto influencers through referral codes and UID, subsequently passing this information to a group of accomplices.

The perpetrators compiled addresses in a Google spreadsheet, tracking early meme coin purchases by major players. This allowed them to open positions before influencers began publicly promoting the coins.

ZachXBT published screenshots from April and August 2025 containing traders’ personal data. The detective also released an audio recording where Bauer boasts about having access to any Axiom client’s information. Several victims have already confirmed the authenticity of the disclosed addresses.

The Axiom team responded to the investigation, stating they were “shocked and disappointed.” The project has revoked employee access to support tools and promised to hold those responsible accountable.

The investigation’s publication was preceded by a frenzy on the Polymarket prediction platform. The volume of bets on who ZachXBT’s article would expose exceeded $38 million.

Hours before the announcement, Axiom’s chances of being the “hero” of the investigation surged to 35%.

Back in August 2025, ZachXBT described Ripple, Cardano, and Hedera as “insider enrichment schemes.”
