Adobe and Microsoft Announce Cross-Platform AI Integration
At the Adobe Summit conference, Microsoft and Adobe announced plans to integrate their products into the AI tool Copilot.
The new features will assist marketers in collaborating on content creation and managing advertising campaigns in applications like Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and Word.
There will be an option to transfer current data and workflows from Adobe Experience Cloud and Dynamics 365 into Microsoft’s AI model.
This will enable employees to manage daily processes more efficiently and improve interactions between internal and external teams.
“Marketers spend most of their time working with Adobe and Microsoft applications. This partnership offers a unique proposition that simplifies daily planning and collaboration tasks,” said Amit Ahuja, Senior Vice President of Adobe’s Digital Experience division.
The data obtained will also be available for creating briefs, presentations, and reports. Additionally, marketers will be able to generate images using Adobe Firefly’s AI model.
“Our shared goal is to enable employees to focus on creating advertising campaigns and enhancing customer service quality,” said Jared Spataro, Vice President of AI at Microsoft.
The new features allow for tracking the current status of projects, understanding the effectiveness of marketing strategies, planning next steps, and identifying target audiences and key metrics.
Previously, Adobe launched an AI assistant in its Reader and Acrobat applications, capable of summarizing and answering questions about PDF content.
In March 2023, Microsoft integrated Copilot into Microsoft 365 applications.
