AI Identified the World’s Most-Loved and Most-Hated Billionaires

The Business Financing publication, with the help of artificial intelligence identified the world’s most-loved and most-hated billionaires among Twitter users worldwide.

Analysts collected geo-tagged tweets mentioning the entrepreneurs. They then applied an algorithm that assessed the emotional valence of the posts.

The world’s most-loved billionaire is Bill Gates. He is positively rated in 37 countries, while in three countries social-media users hold a negative view of Gates.

In Eastern Europe (specifically Poland, Russia, Ukraine and the Czech Republic) Elon Musk is the region’s most-loved billionaire. In the United States it is Richard Branson, in the United Kingdom Sergey Brin, and in China Bill Gates.

Americans love Musk the most — he is approved in 12 states. He is followed by Bezos (10 states) and Gates (seven states).

The anti-ranking is led by Donald Trump. According to AI, he is “hated” in 84 countries, including the United Kingdom, Brazil, Germany, China, the United States, Ukraine and South Africa. Russians, in turn, dislike Jeff Bezos.
