“Manus transforms your prompts into complete stories—structured, sequenced, and ready to watch. With a single request, Manus plans each scene, creates visuals, and animates your vision. From storyboard creation to concept visualization—ideas turn into a live video in minutes,” the company stated.
Initially, the tool is available to users on Basic, Plus, and Pro plans, with plans to open it to everyone.
In March, the Chinese AI model Manus attracted attention both domestically and internationally for its ability to effectively solve a wide range of practical tasks.
It is positioned as a “general-purpose AI agent” capable of booking trips, analyzing stocks, comparing insurance policies, and performing a variety of other tasks. The development is backed by Tencent-supported company Butterfly Effect.
Manus is one of the few startups offering video creation capabilities for free. Sora from OpenAI is available to users with paid ChatGPT subscriptions. Other Western competitors like Runway, Synthesia, and Google set prices for their products via subscriptions or usage fees.
In June, Microsoft integrated an AI generator based on Sora into the Bing mobile app. It is available for free.
Later, the platform for interacting with AI characters, Character AI, announced the launch of a range of multimedia features using artificial intelligence.
