AI Takes Over Significant Tasks at Salesforce

AI Takes Over Significant Tasks at Salesforce

Software development company Salesforce has automated a substantial portion of its operations using artificial intelligence. This was stated by the firm’s CEO, Marc Benioff, according to Bloomberg

“AI is currently performing between 30% and 50% of the work at Salesforce,” he specified.

Neural networks are employed for software development and customer service, allowing for a reduced workforce.

Salesforce offers an AI product that promises to automate customer support without human intervention. The tool’s accuracy has reached 93%, Benioff noted.

“We all need to understand that artificial intelligence can do what humans used to do. We can move on to more valuable work,” the speaker said.

In the 2000s, Salesforce revolutionized software sales by offering a tool for online customer interaction. Now, the company is integrating this new modern technology.

Earlier, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella stated that 20-30% of the company’s code is written by artificial intelligence.

Back in August 2024, British trade unions warned of the risk of millions of job cuts due to AI advancements.
