Rainmaker will bring together hundreds of P2E games, players and guilds around the world. The portal will allow users to train and learn, manage earnings, and chat, aiming to become a global hub and launchpad for new projects. One of the platform’s goals is to lower the entry barrier into the P2E space.

“In the coming years, gaming will be a career choice for many, particularly in developing countries,”, said Will Din, the CEO.

A senior executive, in an interview with CoinDesk, noted that the project began as a gaming guild. It has since evolved into something “resembling a fitness centre and a talent agency.” The team, with proven on-chain experience, will help “hone skills” to reach a level that enables earning in games.

In the future, gamers will be able to borrow or lend in-game NFTs on the platform’s marketplace, according to its profile on Polkastarter.

A beta version of the platform ожидается in the first quarter of 2022.

The gaming blockchain company Avocado Guild announced raising $18 million from QCP Soteria Node and Animoca Brands.

In November, The Sandbox closed a $93 million funding round.
