Allbridge project announces integration with NEAR Protocol

Allbridge, the company behind the development of the eponymous cross-chain bridge, announced the integration with NEAR Protocol.

“We are becoming the first bridge connecting the NEAR Protocol with the Terra, Solana, and Celo ecosystems. This allows us to bring liquidity into NEAR from 12 different networks,” the project blog says.

According to the developers, the cross-chain bridge will involve tokens LUNA and UST of the Terra ecosystem, the SOL cryptocurrency of the Solana project, and the Celo Protocol assets — CELO and cUSD. 

Earlier, NEAR Protocol raised $150 million in a funding round led by Three Arrow Capital, with participation from Andreessen Horowitz, Alameda Research, Dragonfly Capital and other investors.

In January, Allbridge attracted $2 million in investments from venture firm Race Capital.
