Allnodes launches remote ETH 2.0 staking
The Allnodes platform has launched remote ETH 2.0 staking and provided a promo code for three months of free hosting for ForkLog readers.
Remote ETH 2.0 staking has been available on Allnodes since November 30. The service is offered in two tariff plans:
- Basic. Guaranteed uptime of 99% with servers in Europe. Price — $5 per month;
- Advanced. Guaranteed uptime of 99.9%, 15 servers worldwide, priority in tech support. Cost — $0.0148 per hour or $10 per month.
Allnodes is a hosting provider that supports more than 8000 nodes across 23 blockchains, including DASH, NEM and Avalanche. The platform allows monitoring node status via Telegram and Discord bots, stores validator keys on dedicated secure servers, and supports anonymous registration via seed phrase.
Allnodes users do not need to configure and maintain nodes. They can launch multiple nodes and manage them from their account on the platform.
“Even seasoned network participants will need several days to figure out how to launch an Ethereum 2.0 node. Then it must be monitored, maintained and optimised. We take care of these concerns,” Allnodes commented.
To launch an ETH 2.0 node on Allnodes you need to:
- top up your account on the platform;
- select the node type — Validator Node;
- connect an Ethereum wallet or enter an Ethereum address;
- register on Eth2 Launchpad, send tokens to the Eth2 smart contract and obtain validator keys;
- select a tariff plan;
- upload the validator keys to Allnodes.
Allnodes provides ForkLog readers with three months of free hosting of ETH 2.0 nodes. To obtain the free hosting, you must enter the promo code FORKLOG3 in the tariff plan selection window. The offer is valid until December 31, 2020.
On December 1, the launch of Ethereum 2.0 Phase 0 took place. According to Viktor Bunin, a protocol specialist at Bison Trails, more than 21,000 validators are operating on the network.
