Analysts record first outflow from crypto funds in seven weeks

Outflows from cryptocurrency investment products for the period from August 6 to 12 amounted to $17 million. Such estimates were provided by CoinShares analysts CoinShares.

“It is difficult to determine whether this represents a meaningful shift in sentiment. […] The outflow was accompanied by low trading volume and a rebound in prices. This may reflect a modest wave of profit-taking,” the specialists noted.

Inflows into Ethereum-based products ($0.1 million) after seven weeks effectively stalled. In instruments based on other altcoins, investors put in a total of $3.9 million over the week.
