The Web3 infrastructure provider Ankr unveiled Rollup-as-a-Service (RaaS) for Hyperchains from EVM-compatible second-layer solution zkSync.
The product, created in partnership with Matter Labs, simplifies deploying and configuring scalable and secure networks for decentralized applications.
Hyperchains are fractal instances of zkEVM built on the ZK Stack. Essentially, they are identical copies of networks assembled in a modular fashion according to developers’ needs and linked by the L1-L2-type bridges.
The functionality of Hyperchains envisages the ability to create L3-solutions, delegating part of operations to the L2 layer. The Matter Labs team introduced the ZK Stack in June.
Ankr’s clients can now use RaaS to create dedicated blockchains for specific use cases. However, the deployment of Hyperchains is currently limited to a test environment.
“Ankr’s Rollup-as-a-Service will shorten development time for new projects and companies looking to deploy Hyperchains. Teams will be able to focus on their unique use cases thanks to the ZK Stack, reducing time to market,” said Marco Kora, Senior Vice President of Business and Operations at Matter Labs.
In early 2024, a release of the hybrid crypto exchange GRVT, which will use Hyperchains, is expected. ожидается.
Earlier, the Matter Labs team introduced the Boojum proof system based on the STARK protocol.
