Anthony Pompliano: Tech Giants Will Embed Bitcoin Across All Sectors
In the future, Apple will inevitably allow payments in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, according to Anthony Pompliano, co-founder of Morgan Creek Digital, commenting on the recognition by Apple CEO Tim Cook of investments in digital assets.
During an episode of The Best Business Show on his YouTube channel, Pompliano predicted that all tech giants will eventually integrate Web3 solutions and new technologies into their products.
“Cryptocurrency will not be a separate industry. Instead, they will infiltrate it into all existing assets and industries,” he said.
Pompliano noted that discussing cryptocurrencies has become normal in any society, without risking being seen as “crazy or losing one’s head.” Such conversations no longer carry career risks, he added.
“Whether it’s Tim Cook or anyone else with power and influence, whether he works in finance, the tech sector or somewhere else, it is now acceptable to talk about this technology. Perhaps that is exactly what they were waiting for,” the businessman said.
He predicted that in the next 10-20 years technology companies will become more active in the crypto industry, inviting experts and executives from within it.
In November, Stripe appointed Paradigm co-founder Matt Huang to its board. Stated that they count on his experience in the firm’s announced cryptocurrency division.
These trends are set to drive the widespread adoption of digital assets across all sectors of the economy, Pompliano says.
Earlier in May, Apple opened a vacancy for a business development manager with five years of crypto-industry experience to grow its partner program in the “alternative payments” segment.
