
AntPool to refund record Bitcoin fee of $3.1 million
The AntPool mining pool, which received a record transaction fee of $3.1 million, has said it is prepared to reimburse it.
Pool representatives said that, after receiving the funds, they were temporarily frozen.
The sender was asked to get in touch by December 10 and verify their identity by signing with Electrum or Bitcoin Core.
Separately, CKPool administrator noted that on November 30 AntPool mined an empty block with no transactions.

Back on November 23, an unknown user who transferred 55.77 BTC ($2.1 million) paid a fee of 83.65 BTC ($3.1 million).
Later the transaction sender said that had become a victim of hackers.
