
Aptos network resumes operation after five-hour outage
On October 19, at around 2:10 (Kyiv/Moscow time), the Aptos blockchain paused at block #104,621,314. This was reported by Colin Wu, citing Aptoscan.

Following the outage, cryptocurrency exchanges Upbit and OKX temporarily restricted deposits and withdrawals in APT tokens.
Representatives of the project also reacted to the situation, saying they were aware of the problem.

Around 7:30, the developers fixed the glitch, and the network was back to normal. However, the asset on some exchanges remained unavailable.
APT touched $4.95, then fell to $4.85 but quickly recovered and settled around $4.99. As of writing, its market cap stood at about $1.21 billion, according to CoinGecko.
