Arkham Unveils Perpetual Contracts Trading Platform

Arkham Unveils Perpetual Contracts Trading Platform

Blockchain analytics firm Arkham Research has announced the launch of an exchange for trading perpetual contracts.

Registration is open, with trading set to commence in a week. The platform is unavailable in several regions, including the United States.

The company promises real-time reserve audits and the integration of analytical tools for transaction monitoring and wallet labeling.

Unlike traditional futures, perpetual contracts have no expiration date and can be held indefinitely. A funding rate, a regular fee paid by traders with open long or short positions, is used to align the derivative’s price with the underlying asset’s value.

Arkham’s native token, ARKM, has risen by 5% over the past 24 hours.

Arkham representatives announced that traders on the platform will earn points based on their trading volume, which can be exchanged for ARKM after the first 30 days of trading.

In July 2023, Arkham launched a platform for placing blockchain information requests with rewards for executors. The project received mixed reactions from the community, with users labeling it a “snitching service” and some questioning its decentralization.

Back in July 2023, Binance completed the public sale of ARKM tokens.
