Auradine Unveils Bitcoin Miner with 9.8 J/TH Energy Efficiency

Auradine unveils third-generation Teraflux Bitcoin miners with 9.8 J/TH efficiency.

The American firm Auradine has unveiled its third-generation Teraflux installations for Bitcoin mining, achieving an energy efficiency of 9.8 J/TH.

According to the announcement, the devices are designed and manufactured in the United States using high-quality components.

“At a time when miners face rising electricity costs, overheating issues, overseas supply delays, and insufficient equipment resilience, Auradine offers a reliable and efficient alternative to maintain peak performance of mining operations,” the company’s press release states.

In Eco mode with enhanced performance, the air-cooled Teraflux ASIC miner delivers a hashrate of 240 TH/s with an energy efficiency of 10.3 J/TH. 

The liquid-cooled system provides 600 TH/s and 9.8 J/TH. The immersion variant offers 240 TH/s with a similar energy efficiency ratio.

The first samples of the new Teraflux line will be available for sale in the second quarter of 2026, with mass deliveries expected in the second half of the year. The company has begun accepting pre-orders for the miners.

According to Hashrate Index, average market prices for the latest generation ASIC miners (with energy efficiency of at least 19 J/TH) fell from ~$19 to ~$14 per TH/s in September amid declining mining profitability. Since then, the cost of modern installations has remained roughly at this level.

Meanwhile, the largest Bitcoin miner manufacturer Bitmain introduced the Antminer S23 Hydro back in May, boasting 580 TH/s and 9.5 J/TH.

Bitdeer’s flagship SEALMINER A3 series model offers an energy efficiency ratio of 12.5-13.5 J/TH depending on settings, while Canaan’s top Avalon A15Pro achieves around 16.6 J/TH.

Earlier, MARA CEO Fred Thiel predicted tough times for Bitcoin miners due to increasing competition and declining mining profitability. 

In response, some industry players have accelerated diversification into high-profit AI computing services.
