Bank of France selects Tezos for CBDC experiments

The Bank of France has chosen the Tezos platform for experiments with the national digital currency (CBDC), according to a press release.

The experiment will explore the possibility of settlements with CBDC for digital securities.

The project involves Forge, a unit of the financial conglomerate Societe Generale. Also participating in the experiment is Nomadic Labs, a firm conducting research and development for the Tezos protocol.
