Bayern star Alphonso Davies to release NFT collection
In June, Alphonso Davies, the Canadian footballer for Bayern Munich, will unveil his own NFT collection on the Binance platform, ForkLog has learned from the exchange’s representatives.
The collection consists of three unique images created by American artist Jack Perkins with the participation of Davies’s social-media followers.
“Users will be able to vote on various aspects of the token design,” the announcement reads.
The owners of the three NFTs will be determined by a draw. Subsequently, one of them will be able to meet Davies in person and receive a jersey signed by Bayern Munich players.
The draw will take place on Binance’s upcoming NFT marketplace. Binance users will access the platform through their accounts. They will also be able to transfer their own NFTs to the platform for resale.
In April, UFC fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov put up for auction a unique NFT from his personal collection at a starting price of $290,000. The buyer will receive a gift from the athlete at a personal meeting.
