On December 10, the websites of several cryptocurrency exchanges, including Bybit, OKX, and Bitget, were added to the restricted access list in the Republic of Belarus.

The platforms were placed on the stop list based on a decision by the Ministry of Information of Belarus.

According to Zerkalo, local users have experienced widespread access issues and have begun to complain in thematic chats.

When attempting to access Bybit, clients of the internet provider Beltelecom see the following message:

“Access to the information resource is restricted based on a decision by the authorized body of the Republic of Belarus.”

The authorities have yet to comment on the decision.

Back in November, Belarusians and Russians complained about account blocks on Bybit EU and Revolut.
