Bernstein’s $200,000 Bitcoin Prediction by 2025 Deemed Conservative

Analysts at Bernstein have reiterated their forecast for Bitcoin to reach $200,000 by the end of next year, describing it as “conservative.” This was reported by The Block.

“Bitcoin will be worth $200,000 in this cycle (end of 2025). […] We are conservative,” stated Gautam Chhugani, head of digital assets at Bernstein, in a letter to clients.

The expert highlighted the investment appeal of the leading cryptocurrency against the backdrop of rising U.S. national debt ($35 trillion) and the threat of inflation.

“If you like gold in this regard, you should love Bitcoin even more,” Chhugani emphasized, noting the cryptocurrency’s limited supply.

For investors wary of direct Bitcoin trading, the analyst suggested MicroStrategy shares—the largest corporate holder of digital gold. Another option could be crypto services from Robinhood, according to the expert.

In this context, Chhugani also pointed to shares of mining companies like Riot Platforms, CleanSpark, and Core Scientific, which is actively expanding its business in AI computing.

According to the analyst, the latter remains undervalued, especially in light of the $2 billion expansion of its deal with CoreWeave. The AI firm exercised an option and reserved 100% of the miner’s available 500 MW capacity for its needs.

At the time of writing, Bitcoin is trading at around $66,600. This is approximately 10% below the all-time high set in March, but nearly 60% above the price level at the start of the year.

Earlier in October, Bernstein analysts linked the cryptocurrency rally to the increased chances of Donald Trump securing the U.S. presidency in the upcoming November elections.

For the same reason, Matrixport called their forecast of Bitcoin reaching $70,000 by the end of the year “too conservative.”
