Binance becomes a partner of the Grammy Awards

The cryptocurrency exchange Binance has signed an agreement with the Recording Academy and has become the official partner of the 64th Annual Grammy Awards. ForkLog was told by company representatives.

“The Grammys will mark the start of our collaboration with the Recording Academy, which will enable us to bring a new experience of applying blockchain and all the wonderful possibilities of Web3 technology to the entertainment sector,” said Binance co founder Yi He.

As part of the deal, Binance became a partner of the Grammys and Grammy Week. Over the coming year the company will continue its collaboration with the Recording Academy and will provide a range of Web 3.0 technology solutions to participants in the Academy and its events.

Further details of the cooperation will be disclosed later.

The 64th annual Grammy Awards ceremony will be held on April 3, 2022, in a full, live format at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

In November 2021, the music NFT platform announced a partnership with the Recording Academy. It will issue non-fungible tokens for the 64th, 65th and 66th Grammys.
