Binance CEO Outlines Expectations from Trump Administration

In 2025, US cryptocurrency legislation is expected to become clearer, and the industry will witness new all-time highs, stated Binance CEO Richard Teng at the World Economic Forum in Davos.

He believes that clear regulations, coupled with the friendly stance of Donald Trump’s administration, will propel the crypto market to new records within the year.

“If you look at past cycles, this year we will see a new all-time high for the crypto industry,” Teng declared.

He pointed to a “sharp shift in narrative” surrounding digital assets, including in the corridors of the Davos forum.

The expert believes that Trump will provide these instruments with the necessary “recognition” and certainty. Moreover, the president is not the only cryptocurrency supporter in the government.

Teng noted that the US House of Representatives and Senate in 2025 will be significantly more crypto-friendly. Additionally, he highlighted the positive appointments of Paul Atkins and Brian Quintenz as chairs of the SEC and CFTC.

The Binance CEO suggested that the crypto industry will see the development of regulations for token issuance, trading, and asset management.

Earlier in January, Bitwise experts described the $219,000 mark as the “fair value” of the first cryptocurrency.
