The cryptocurrency exchange Binance launched a Lite version in its mobile app for beginners.
According to a Binance poll, in the last three months more than 42% of cryptocurrency holders received questions from more than five people about buying Bitcoin.
And 16% of respondents were asked about buying digital gold by more than 15 people. Only 6% of the 5,600 Twitter respondents did not receive such questions.
“Almost all cryptocurrency holders note interest from a friend, relative or colleague in the ways to enter the industry. This also concerns our users: an incredible 16% have received more than 15 requests in the last three months — more than once a week,” said the CEO of the trading platform, Changpeng Zhao.
According to him, many newcomers simply want to buy cryptocurrency, without charts and headaches. Binance believes that if users become interested in trading, they can simply switch off Lite mode and dive into the market’s complexities.
To mark the interface launch, the exchange is offering referral bonuses. Each invitee using a personal code and who buys Bitcoin worth €100 in Lite mode will be eligible to win €500 for themselves and €500 for the inviter. A total of 20 winners. The promotion runs until 10 February, with the results announced on 12 February.
Earlier, Binance launched a beta version of its own payment service with Bitcoin support.
