The App Store appeared with an app named Binance Messenger, which the crypto company released without an announcement.
“Communicate anytime and anywhere. A call, a meeting and a message — all in one app. Ensure the uninterrupted operation of conference calls. Communicate effectively with team members,” the description states.
After word spread online about the messenger’s appearance, Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao clarified the situation on X.

According to him, this is “a small internal app used for testing”. He promised to provide more information at the Binance Blockchain Week conference on November 8.
In the “Terms of Service” section of the company releasing the app, BIM Messenger LLC is listed. According to the document, the messenger uses “a modern security system and end-to-end encryption to provide private messages, internet telephony and other services to users worldwide”.
Binance clients from Ukraine, Armenia, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan were able to issue virtual crypto-payment cards. The initiative is part of a partnership with the fintech project CardB.
In late October, the trading platform resumed providing services in euros.
