Binance opens regional hub in Georgia

The cryptocurrency exchange Binance announced the opening of a new blockchain hub in Georgia.

It will focus on attracting specialists in the field of Web3.

The Binance team in Georgia currently numbers 25 people. With the launch of the regional centre by the end of 2023, the exchange expects to create dozens more jobs.

Binance will also intensify its support for educational programs related to digital finance, and accelerate the adoption of cryptocurrencies in the region.

Earlier in February, Binance signed a memorandum of understanding with the Agency for Innovation and Technology of Georgia.

The collaboration includes various educational and charitable initiatives from Binance Academy and Binance Charity, as well as local events and hackathons from BNB Chain.
