Binance to Delist Several Margin Trading Pairs

The cryptocurrency exchange Binance will reduce leverage and delist perpetual options for several positions.

From May 13, the platform will cease trading in the following pairs:

• USDⓈ-M/STPTUSDT;
• USDⓈ-M SNTUSDT/MBLUSDT.

Support for USDⓈ-M/RADUSDT and USDⓈ-M/CVXUSDT will end a day later.

Users of Binance Futures are advised to close positions in these pairs by the specified dates to avoid forced liquidation.

“To protect users and prevent potential risks in extremely volatile market conditions, Binance Futures may take additional protective measures regarding the aforementioned contracts without further notice,” the statement said.

In April, a US court sentenced Binance founder Changpeng Zhao to four months in prison for involvement in money laundering and other illegal activities.
