Binance to launch platform for institutional clients

The cryptocurrency exchange Binance has announced the launch of Binance Institutional. The trading platform will focus on institutions, family offices, high-net-worth individuals, miners, asset managers and hedge funds.

The Binance Institutional product line includes:

Binance emphasised strict compliance with regulatory requirements in each jurisdiction where the platform operates.

The company plans to obtain SOC 2 and ISO-27001 certifications — a set of standards that build trust, security, compliance and audit.

As noted, in June 2022 the Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao stated that the crypto winter is a suitable time to hire new staff and further develop the business.

In April, Binance’s U.S. unit, in a seed round raised $200 million at a valuation of $4.5 billion. It was reported recently that the firm intends to raise an additional $50 million.
