From 15 November, the cryptocurrency exchange Binance остановит прием deposits in Russian rubles.
Withdrawals will continue until 31 January 2024. Users with fiat balances in Russian rubles can transfer funds to CommEX for free.
Meanwhile, CommEX itself, on 9 November, добавила a channel for deposits and withdrawals from the exchange wallet in rubles and opened trading in the USDT/RUB pair on the spot market.
Earlier media reports revealed Binance to terminate its partnership with the Advcash payment system. According to some sources, the reason is that through this gateway clients transferred funds from sanctioned Russian banks.
Earlier in September, Binance announced its withdrawal from Russia and the sale of CommEX’s local business.
