Binance to support Ethereum Arrow Glacier hard fork and Stacks upgrade
The cryptocurrency exchange Binance announced support for the Ethereum Arrow Glacier hard fork, which will take place at block #13,773,000 around December 9, 2021.

The upgrade will implement the sole Ethereum Improvement Proposal (EIP-4345). It introduces a delay in the activation of the \”difficulty bomb\” until May 2022.
\n\n
A new test network on the Proof-of-Work consensus algorithm called Sepolia will also be launched.
\n\n
The Binance team warned that deposits and withdrawals for all tokens on the Ethereum blockchain will be halted five minutes before the hard fork. The event will not affect trading. No new tokens will be issued as a result.
\n\n
Deposits and withdrawals of assets will reopen once the exchange’s specialists are satisfied with the stability of the updated network.
\n\n
Earlier in December, Binance announced support for network updates and hard forks of Avalanche, Tezos and Theta Network projects.
