Binance to update deposit addresses for some users

To enhance security, the cryptocurrency exchange Binance has begun updating the addresses of some user deposits. Affected customers will receive an email notification about the changes.

Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to retrieve your assets deposited to the old addresses.

Platform representatives described the step as an upgrade to wallet infrastructure.

Deposits to old addresses will be available in the \”Deposit history\” section.

If users receive the email, they are advised to specify a new address for funding their account. The generation of the new address will be available via the corresponding link.

The validity of old addresses for deposits will expire after the new ones are created or after 30 days from receipt of the above email notification. Going forward, their use will not lead to automatic crediting of funds — they will remain secure and will not be lost.

Users can transfer assets to their spot wallet manually by using the \”One-Click Deposit\” button on the transaction history page (the option can be activated via the deposit status request page).

Binance said that on April 19 at 5:00 (Kyiv/Moscow time) will open ETH withdrawals from staking.

Earlier the exchange conducted the twenty-third quarterly burn of BNB tokens. From circulation 2.02 million coins were removed, worth more than $676 million.
