“We continue taking the necessary steps to ensure compliance with requirements across the United States, safeguard client assets, and ensure the transparency of our platform,” said CEO Brian Schroeder.
According to the press release, Nevada became the seventh jurisdiction in the United States to approve Binance.US to operate in 2022. Previously, similar decisions were made by authorities in West Virginia, Connecticut, Wyoming, Rhode Island, Idaho, and Puerto Rico.
The company added that it would continue expanding customer support and rolling out new products.
In April, the American arm raised $200 million in a seed round with a pre-money valuation of $4.5 billion.
Subsequently, media reported that Binance.US planned to raise an additional $50 million.
