
Bison Trails unveils protocol for building Libra-based services
As a member of the Libra Association, a provider of infrastructure and blockchain solutions, Bison Trails announced the launch of the Query and Transactions Clusters (QT) protocol. It will enable developers to build services on top of the forthcoming Libra network.

Custodians, wallets, exchanges, and others who are Designated Dealers and VASPs (Virtual Asset Service Providers) on the @Libra_ network: prepare for mainnet launch by building with Libra QT on premainnet today.

Libra QT is something of a bridge between the not-yet-launched Libra network and external networks. The separate infrastructure will enable recording data on the blockchain.
Bison Trails said that Libra QT will give Libra users the ability to “integrate exchanges and wallets, as well as create new and interesting applications.”
Libra QT will also enable payment processing, transaction verification, and the creation of smart contracts.
Since its inception, the Libra project from Facebook has faced stiff pressure from regulators around the world.
