Crypto investor and blogger Lark Davis said Ethereum outpaced Bitcoin in the number of new holders over the year.

According to him, the number of holders of the second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization rose 263% in 2022, while the ‘digital gold’ metric rose only 20%.
By the evening of January 29, Bitcoin quotes neared the $24,000 level. At the time of writing, the asset was trading at around $23,000.
Ethereum rose along with Bitcoin to $1,650. At the time of writing, the second-largest cryptocurrency had corrected to around $1,580.
The total cryptocurrency market capitalization fell below $1.1 trillion, according to CoinGecko.
In September 2022, a researcher known as ZachXBT accused Davis of repeated involvement in Pump & Dump schemes.
