The Label represents a community of independent Bitcoin developers focused on security, privacy and scalability. They will primarily provide consulting on these issues.

The project will help industry participants with the development and integration of new protocols and solutions, such as Lightning Network, while developers diversify their incomes.

Participants will be selected by the founders of The Label.

In a comment to ForkLog Naumenko said that developers “are happy to share their experience so that others will create similar organisations”.

Read more about the project’s creation history and its aims in Riard’s publication.

Last year Gleb Naumenko received a $100,000 grant from the BitMEX operator — HDR Global Trading.
