
Bitcoin from the ‘Satoshi Era’ Moves After 12 Years
A dormant wallet moved 400 BTC worth $44 million after 12 years.
The owner of a cryptocurrency wallet dormant for 12 years has withdrawn approximately 400 BTC, valued at $44 million, according to analysts at Lookonchain.

According to Arkham, the funds were sent from the address to several wallets, mostly in batches of 15 BTC. Consequently, the user’s balance is now empty.

Analysts noted that the initial coins were received from miners about 15 years ago. The identity of the owner and the reasons for the transfer remain unknown.
During the 12-year “hibernation,” the price of Bitcoin rose from $135 to $122,149.
Lookonchain also reported on the actions of an Ethereum whale. Five months ago, the whale sold 1,857 ETH for $4.18 million at a price of $2,251.

Recently, he repurchased 1,501 ETH, spending $6.17 million at a rate of $4,114.
Back in August, a whale that “woke up” after 12 years transferred 750 BTC to Binance.
