The Bitcoin network’s hash rate has for the first time in history reached 170 EH/s on the hourly chart of the 24-hour moving average, according to Glassnode analysts.

That is an increase of around 40% since the halving in May, substantially adding to the security of the network.

The rise since the May halving stands at around 40%, underscoring a meaningful improvement in network security.
According to BitinfoCharts, the average daily hash rate is 150.2 EH/s. In the last 24 hours the figure has risen by 17.9%.

Earlier, after the latest recalibration, mining difficulty remained at its previous record level, dipping 0.09% from 19.31 TH to 19.30 TH.
