Bitcoin Latinum to Install 100,000 Crypto ATMs in the United States

Bitcoin Latinum signed a three-year contract with ATM provider OSO to deploy 100,000 devices in the United States.

According to Bitcoin Latinum founder Donald Bazil, the partners plan to install the first 25,000 ATMs by the end of January 2022. Users of crypto ATMs will be able to buy Bitcoin or the company’s LTNM tokens.

As of writing, the global count of crypto ATMs installed stood at 30,277, according to Coin ATM Radar. As of 1 January 2021, there were 13,993.

Earlier, cryptocurrency ATM operators DigitalMint and Coinsource, together with analytics firm Chainalysis formed the Cryptocurrency Compliance Cooperative alliance to enhance consumer safety and legitimisation of the industry.

Back in October, Walmart placed bitcoin terminals in several dozen stores across the United States.
