As a result of another adjustment, mining difficulty of the first cryptocurrency fell by 2.94%. The metric has declined from its peak to 52.33 T.
The average hash rate for the period since the previous adjustment stood at 374.5 EH/s. The block interval slightly exceeded the algorithm’s 10-minute target.
According to Glassnode, the smoothed 7-day moving average of the network’s hash power fell from record highs to 366.4 EH/s. In June the hash rate approached 400 EH/s.
According to Hashrate Index, since the start of the month the Hashprice has fallen by more than 10% — from $0.078 per TH per day to around $0.07.
On 24 July the Bitcoin network surpassed the 800 000 mined blocks — the halving is still 40 blocks away.
