
Bitcoin mining difficulty hits a new high
As a result of another recalculation on June 14, mining difficulty of Bitcoin rose by 2.18%. The metric reached a new high at 52.35 T.
The average hash rate over the period since the previous adjustment stood at 374.4 EH/s.
According to Glassnode, 12 June the smoothed 7-day moving average metric reached a maximum of 393.9 EH/s. After that it corrected to 388 EH/s. This suggests a potential further rise in difficulty — about 1.2%, according to the forecast.
According to Hashrate Index, hashprice stands at $0.063 per TH/s per day. Over the past 30 days, the metric has fallen by roughly 18% from around $0.077.
In May, miners’ aggregate revenue $916 million reached $916 million, a figure that has been rising steadily since November 2022.
