Bitcoin price climbs above $33,000

Bitcoin price rose above $33,300. During the day the price breached the psychologically important $30,000 level and continued rising.

The total cryptocurrency market capitalization is approaching the all-time high recorded in January 2018, reached amid a rally in altcoins. At the time of writing, Bitcoin’s dominance index stood at 70% (CoinGecko).
