Bitcoin price tops $51,800; Ethereum above $3,500

The price of the first cryptocurrency briefly reached $51,900. On Wednesday, October 6, at 09:28 MSK, Bitcoin was trading at around $51,650.

Ethereum crossed the $3,500 level. The asset’s market capitalization surpassed $410 billion, and the overall crypto market cap reached $2.3 trillion.

Earlier, CoinShares’ Chief Growth Officer Meltem Demirors predicted that Bitcoin’s price would rise to $100,000.
