Bitcoin settled above the $20,000 level. Over the last 24 hours, the price of Bitcoin rose by 6%, according to CoinGecko.
At the time of writing, digital gold is trading around $20,370.
Over the last 24 hours Ethereum rose by 9.9%. The second-largest cryptocurrency is trading at around $1,170.
The market recovery comes amid growth toward a new high in the number of non-zero Bitcoin addresses.
Inflows of Bitcoin to centralized exchanges fell to levels last seen a month earlier.
As of writing, total market capitalization stands at $955 billion (+5.7% over the day). Bitcoin’s dominance index is — 40,6%.
The second quarter of 2022 was Bitcoin’s worst in 11 years. From April through June the first cryptocurrency fell by 56.2%.
