Swiss crypto trading platform Bitcoin Suisse and European payments company Worldline unveiled a multichannel solution for cryptocurrency payments WL Crypto Payments.

According to the statement, the integrated service enables more than 85,000 Swiss merchants in the Worldline network to accept Bitcoin and Ethereum as payment options via POS terminals and in e-commerce.
To use it, they need to download the WL Crypto Payments mobile app or install the Worldline payment plugin on the retailer’s website.
Prices quoted by merchants in Swiss francs are converted into digital assets in real time.
The cryptocurrency transaction is converted into fiat immediately after payment confirmation to avoid volatility risk.
The customer can pay via a standard mobile crypto wallet.
“I am very pleased to work with Worldline to bring convenient cryptocurrency payments to market. This step again proves that Switzerland is a leader in collaborative innovation and a pioneer in the blockchain industry,” said Bitcoin Suisse CEO Artur Vailoyan.
In 2020, Bitcoin Suisse raised $48 million to scale the business.
In November, the company launched a staking service on the Ethereum 2.0 network, which helped it double trading volumes.
