
Bitcoin tops Donald Trump in US search queries
In the United States, the number of Google searches related to the leading cryptocurrency reached 1.9 million, according to a study by Ahrefs.

In terms of search volume, Bitcoin surpassed former President Donald Trump, the musician Elvis Presley, and Disney World. Globally, Bitcoin was searched 12 million times.
According to Google Trends, over the past month the politician only overtook the digital asset on two days, when appeared messages about his arrest.

The state most interested in Bitcoin was Nevada, followed by Miami, California and Washington.
“Nevada’s continued gambling enthusiasm may be a factor contributing to the success and high interest in Bitcoin,” the study says.
At the time of writing, the asset was trading above $28,300. Over the last 24 hours, Bitcoin rose by 1.5%, according to CoinGecko.

In October 2022, the search interest in ‘Web3‘ overtook ‘bitcoin’. The first reading reached 72 points, while the second fell to 27.
In the same month, Google began displaying Ethereum wallet balances.
