
Bitcoin’s daily transaction count falls to 2018 levels
The number of daily Bitcoin transactions fell to 217,000. The last time such a low level was observed was August 31, 2018, according to The Block.
On June 1, the number of active Bitcoin addresses reached a six-month low. According to CryptoQuant, the metric continued to decline and reached 716,000.

The number of new Bitcoin addresses fell to 372 000, matching March values.
At the time of writing, the leading cryptocurrency was trading around $36,570. The asset’s market capitalization stands at $684 billion, with a dominance index of 39.5%, according to CoinGecko.
Back on June 4 the price of bitcoin fell more than 5% after another tweet by Elon Musk mentioning digital gold.
Later, unknown individuals who called themselves the Anonymous group published a YouTube video criticizing the businessman for his influence on cryptocurrency.
