“SEAL02 has an exceptional power efficiency ratio of 13.5 joules per terahash at low voltage, in ultra-energy-saving mode. It will be easily integrated into our new SEALMINER A2 miners, with mass production scheduled for November 2024,” company representatives noted.
According to them, research and development efforts continue on the next-generation chip, SEAL03.
SEAL02 was developed in collaboration with leading semiconductor manufacturer TSMC.
Earlier, ForkLog reported that Bitdeer intends to expand its capacity to 2.5 GW.
In September, publicly traded company Hut 8 unveiled a next-generation miner, the U3S21EXPH, developed jointly with Bitmain.
The key feature of the device is the direct liquid cooling technology for the chip, used in data centers for high-performance computing.
